  • Firstly, you can book a 15-minute information session by emailing us at info@healthcure.eu with the title “information session”.

    We then decide on the psychotherapeutic approach/method that will best suit your case and proceed to start the face-to-face or online sessions, depending on where you live and your needs.

  • The number of sessions and the length of time you need to have psychotherapy depends on many factors, such as the nature and extent of the issues you are dealing with, the goals of therapy, and your personal response to therapy.

    In general, psychotherapy can be short-term (a few sessions) or long-term (months or even years), depending on the needs and goals of the person.

    In general, the psychotherapeutic methods we follow require sessions that last from 3 to 6 years or so.

    It is important to discuss your expectations and concerns with us so that we can provide you with a more personalised assessment.

  • The time needed for results depends on the individual and their problems. Some people see improvement in a few sessions, while others need more time.

  • Yes, psychotherapy is safe as we respect the rhythm and needs of the client and confidential.
    Psychotherapists strictly observe the rules of confidentiality and secrecy.

  • Usually online sessions are paid via a bank account and face-to-face sessions are paid by cash or deposit.

Questions about individual psychotherapy

  • Psychotherapy is a form of therapy based on the corrective-therapeutic relationship and aims to address psychological, emotional, developmental psychosomatic and behavioural problems.

    Through this relationship you will be able to understand and deal with the challenges you face in your life.

  • Psychotherapy can help you to develop better self-awareness, deal with emotional problems, improve your relationships and deal with various challenges in your life.

  • The duration of the psychotherapy session is usually 60 minutes. The time is determined by your psychotherapist.

  • The frequency is agreed between therapist and client in the first sessions, in the therapy contract and depends on your difficulties, needs and goals.

    Usually the sessions are weekly or twice a week.

  • Psychotherapy sessions can last from a few months up to 5-6 years or as long as the individual needs in order to reach their goal.

  • Choosing a psychotherapist is an important decision that affects the course of treatment and its results. The criteria for selecting a psychotherapist include:

    Training and Certification: Ensure that the psychotherapist has a degree in a relevant field (psychology, psychotherapy, etc.) and is certified by the relevant professional organization. Ideally, in addition to his/her academic studies in psychology , he/she needs to have specialized in a psychotherapeutic approach and be in ongoing treatment and supervision himself/herself.

    Experience: Look at the psychotherapist’s background. Experience in similar issues can be valuable.
    Approach: consider the psychotherapist’s way of working and his or her approach to therapy. It is important that you agree with the philosophy of his/her psychotherapeutic approach.
    Chemistry: The relationship and chemistry between you and the psychotherapist is important. You need to feel safe and trusting.
    Availability: Consider the hours and availability of the psychotherapist on our team. It must be convenient for you.

  • Individual face-to-face psychotherapy offers a safe and supportive environment where the patient can explore their emotional and psychological issues with the professional guidance of the psychotherapist.

  • The flexibility of online psychotherapy allows patients to connect with our psychotherapists from anywhere, saving the time and effort associated with regular psychotherapy sessions.

    However, it is important to bear in mind that online psychotherapy may not be suitable for everyone and for every kind of need.

  • The cost for online or face-to-face psychotherapy at the Healthcure mental, physical health and healing arts centre is 60 € per session.

  • The therapeutic contract is the agreement made at the beginning of the therapeutic relationship and concerns:

    • Privacy and confidentiality.
    • Agreement on the frequency of the sessions, their duration and the formality of it.
    • The cost and payment methods.
    • The cancellation policy.
    • The case of a delay in a session.
    • What happens on holidays and public holidays.
    •The closure of the treatment.

Questions about parent counselling

  • Individual parental counselling is personalised and provides one-to-one support and advice, while parenting groups are collective meetings with other parents to share experiences, views and skills.

  • Parent counseling provides tools and techniques to address problems in communication, parenting, coping with challenges and improving relationships.

  • Key benefits include developing parenting skills, sharing experiences, support from other parents and increased confidence.

  • The aim of individual parental counselling is to provide individualised support and advice to parents in dealing with specific problems in their family.

  • To join a parenting group, you simply need to contact and register for that group.
