The center of mental, physical health & healing arts “Healthcure” participated in the 13th international meeting of psychotherapists of the psychotherapeutic approach Biosynthesis and had the honor to be represented by Phoebe Anastasaki, who introduced the seminar Hestia within the archaeological site of Epidaurus, approaching it philosophically and psychotherapeutically with emphasis on the connection between the approach of Biosynthesis and philosophy.
A variety of tools were used in order to understand in depth the concept of HESTY. Letters as symbols, possible etymologies, meditation, philosophy, mythology, knowledge from the psychotherapeutic body-centered approach of Biosynthesis and of course the presence and the place of Epidaurus itself.
The ESTIA as deity, the hearth as soul, centre, sail, as a reference point constant in our life, as the unquenchable fire within us, as essence and being.
The common goal that unites the two disciplines of Philosophy and Psychotherapy is the finding of the Hearth, that is, the answer to the question: “Who am I really?”
