On 11/2/25 we had the honour to participate in the Montessori Farm School with a very interesting and useful for parents talk entitled “Crisis and Emotion Management”
In this talk we explored how to deal with the daily challenges that parenting brings, based on the science of Neuropsychology and our understanding of children’s brains. Specifically:
What is attachment theory and how it relates to the topic
the structure of emotion
How does the brain of children and adults work?
What happens in a young child’s brain when we give them a command or when we ourselves are upset?
What are realistic expectations we can have of children of this age?
What is it that really makes it difficult for us, as parents, to manage these moments?
How do we manage a crisis?
Afterwards, time was given for Q&A!
Thank you very much for the invitation!
The group was moderated by:
Phoebe Anastasaki Psychotherapist, Biosynthesis method & Perinatal Psychology and Spyros Manganiotis, Clinical Psychologist – Psychotherapist specializing in developmental trauma, who maintain the Healthcure Psychotherapy Center.
