My name is Spiros Manganiotis. I was born and raised in Athens. I have been working in the health field since 2009.
My personal interest led me to the field of therapies in 2005, when I started my personal quest and this resulted in directing my professional orientation and studies in the field of health with emphasis on mental health and Chinese Medicine.
Today I work privately as a Psychologist & Psychotherapist applying Synthetic and Somatic Psychotherapy both in individual sessions and in Parenting Counselling groups as well as in individual seminars.
I also work as a Chinese Medicine practitioner with a focus on mental health, internal medicine, gynecology and fertility. I have broad knowledge of a wide range of healing techniques from both scientific and classical/traditional approaches (see appendix 1 for a detailed study tree), striving to integrate and synthesize the necessary tools for an individualized treatment.
My therapeutic philosophy is that the human being consists of body, spirit and soul, so I always try to have a critical look at all three levels in my sessions, paying special attention to individual differences, the psychology of the person and the observation of the vital energy of the body.
Following the biopsychosocial model, it is observed that in order to understand a person’s medical condition, not only biological factors but also psychological and social factors should be taken into account.
My special interest is the integration of modern research on Biopsychology – Neuroscience and their combination with Classical Psychotherapy and especially the theory of Somatic Psychotherapy and Chinese Medicine.
In 2012 I founded the Healthcure Wellness and Holistic Therapies Center in Nea Erythraia, Attica and after 4 years I decided to move out of Athens, as the city could no longer support me in the lifestyle I had chosen.
I relocated to the island of Paros , opening Healthcure Paros in 2016. In its 5 years of operation , the center offered a variety of services of Holistic Therapies, Psychotherapy, Exercise, Chinese Medicine and Massage.
He also exclusively equipped the spa services for four tourist seasons in luxury hotels, villas, boats in different parts of the island.
In 2021, having become a parent for the second time and influenced by the family’s needs for a different way of life, I moved to the city of Larissa where I now live and work in a private office.
In my personal life I continue my studies on my professional field, I attend philosophy seminars, I practice Qi-Gong, Wing Chun Kung Fu, I do meditation practices, I study, I take care of my diet and my relationships.

*The Biosynthesis Psychotherapist Diploma is recognised by the European Association of Body Psychotherapy (EABP), the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP) and the World Council of Psychotherapy (WCP). Biosynthesis is recognised by the EAP (European Association for Psychotherapy) and graduates of the Hellenic Biosynthesis Centre can become holders of the European Certificate for Psychotherapy (ECP).
